It was the first time we created an interior design for a children's club, and it felt like a challenge to make this space inclusive and useful for young visitors of all ages. The format of the club is interesting: everyone can rent a toy for a certain period of time. Since children quickly get bored with the familiar, parents rush to buy new things, which creates excessive consumption and a large amount of unnecessary stuff that needs to be disposed of. The practice of renting toys solves this problem and at the same time arouses curiosity: the club's young guests can come for new toys even every day. We designed the space to attract children of all ages. We used pastel light blue and blue colors with accent shades of “sea wave”, orange and brownish pink on the furniture and lamps. A height-adjustable table and chairs of various sizes were placed in the area for games, educational activities or master classes. The club also has open shelves for books, toys and board games, which are easy to browse and choose. And so that parents don't get bored waiting for their children while they play in the club, there is a cozy cafe area at the entrance where they can have a cup of coffee.
